PART-TIME RETAIL ASSOCIATE


Position Summary

We're looking for a few good part-timers at GR Mitchell's True Value hardware store! We'll need both daytime and evening folks (don't worry, we're only open until 6 pm M-F, 7 am - 5 pm on Saturday, and 10 am - 3 pm Sundays). You'll be expected to provide point of sale service and proactively assist customers looking to maintain, repair, and improve their homes. A customer-centric attitude and experience processing transactions on a Windows-based PC are essential to being successful in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Greet retail customers quickly and cheerfully upon entering the store
  2. “Check out” customer with merchandise at cash register. Requires use of Windows-based computer
  3. Assist customers in finding the products that they are hoping to find
  4. Provide merchandise support to include: check-in & stocking of merchandise, maintain organization of store, and reset displays
  5. Loading merchandise in customer vehicle and setting up deliveries when necessary
  6. Answer incoming calls to help customer and/or direct call to another employee or department
  7. May perform other special projects as requested
  8. Report to work as scheduled at 14 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584
