NOW HIRING – Full-time Cashier

Position Summary

This full-time position will support our True Value retail staff by offering great customer service within our hardware store. They'll utilize GR Mitchell's point of sale system to take payment and complete customer purchases, help to advise customers on the best products for their job, and help keep our store tidy and efficient. We're looking for a good attitude, the desire to provide excellent service, and proficiency with computers.

Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Report to work at 14 Beaver Valley Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584, some weekend shifts may be required
    2. 'Check out' customers with merchandise at cash register. Requires use of windows-based computer
    3. Answer incoming calls to help customer and/or direct call to another employee/department
    4. Aide in the organization and cleanliness of the sales area
    5. Assist with receiving inventory, stocking shelves, and product counts
    6. May be asked to perform other special projects
    7. Ability to drive, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and move heavier objects
