NOW HIRING – Fill-In Driver



Position Summary

This position includes both driving GR Mitchell box trucks as well as performing as a drivers helper (unloading orders at jobsite) and occasional yard hand (pulling lumber orders and assisting walk-in customers). This position does not require a CDL, but does include the need for a standard driver’s license. This full-time position based out of Willow Street will require availability from 10 am - 6 pm (no over-nights) with the occasional request to work on the weekend. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ride with drivers in company vehicles to deliver lumber, windows, and other building materials. Most deliveries are within a 2 hour drive of Willow Street.
• Operate company vehicles (most often box trucks)to make deliveries.
• Help prepare loads to fulfill customer orders.
• Collaborate with your delivery driver to ensure that the correct materials are quickly and safely unloaded from the vehicle.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from contractors at delivery site.
• Assist with unloading items from the vehicle. Position requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• On light delivery days, employee will be asked to help in the warehouse/lumberyard.
